I think you may have a problem doing this, I don't think you can use an
Intel Mac to install onto a PPC Mac, you can however use a FireWire DVD
drive to boot a Pismo as I have done that myself.

Or put the Intel iMac into FWTDM and put the DVD in it's drive then use
that as a FireWire DVD drive.
