Hi,
I want to upgrade my Lombard RAM on the bottom connector.

The RAM module that I purchased (saler tell me that it will fit for my application) contains the following info: pq1PC-133 256MB 0101-05D6 MCCC-423EA 0023863 029 OPHT01-119788 AAQ 256MB 144p PC133 CL3 DF/00
and measure 2 5/8" X 1 1/4" and is very thin.
Now I read in a Lombard service manual PDF that I have: The underside slot can accommodate a 1.5-inch SO-DIMM with up to 128 MB of SDRAM.
Notice that 1.5 inch?
Anyone can confirm the exact lenght that will fit down there?

There are two different problems here:

1) SoDimm comes in two sizes. The Lombard will take one of the larger size and one of the smaller size; or two of the smaller. It's a physical specification, if your SoDimm fits, it fits.

2) The Lombard used "low-density" SoDimm. This means the chip would normally have chips on both sides. If you use "high-density" SoDimm (chips on one side only), it will only be recognized as half its size, i.e. your 256MB SoDimm would only be recognized as 128MB. Most modern PC133 SoDimms are "high density" so it's likely that the one you bought will work, but will only be recognized as 128MB. It would be better to get a correct low-density SoDimm that is recognized as full size.

The maximum capacity of the Lombard is 512MB as two 256MB low-density SoDimms.
