These instructions do NOT overclock your Mac. All these instructions do is change the CPU speed information so that the "About this Mac" and System Profiler will read 533 MHz rather than the REAL speed, which is STILL THE SAME AS BEFORE.
In order to truly overclock any G3 series Mac you MUST do this in hardware by changing physical jumpers. There is NO software overclock for G3 series Macs AFAIK.
