Felix recalls being able to run one of the initial, lower versions of iTunes 9 on a Pismo.

I want to be able to do likewise to acquire the capability of re-media type labeling podcasts as such which isn't available in iTunes 8.2.1.

Also, I would need iTunes 9 to work with a 3rd generation iPod Touch.

So, anyone else having run iTunes 9 on a Pismo with Tiger? I just want to make sure before picking up the iPod Touch.

iTunes 8.2.1 is the final release that officially supports G3 Macs.

iTunes 9.1.1 is the actual last release that runs on G3 Macs (albeit slowly).
