Mind you, it will be a little slower, like Dan says, and also limited, since some of the functionality will not be available at all. I was happy with it for a while, since one does not ask a lot from a Pismo anyway, but iTunes 8.2.1 is definitely snappier and works fully -- except for videos, of course. For syncing with a 3rd gen Touch, though, I would recommend at least a G4 with USB 2.0 ports, because the USB ports in the Pismo will be slow as molasses, and I doubt you can get the latest iPod software with that iTunes version --among a slew of other reasons.
