Thanks for the link, Kris. I read it to the bottom and just as I was
about to decide to give it a go, found this:
"It has been about two years since I replaced the cells in two Pismo
battery packs. These batteries did not last as long as they should
have. One pack is completely dead now, and the other only lasts about
30 minutes. I suspect that there is something that needs to be reset
when the cells are replaced, but I'm not sure. If you have information
relating to this, I would appreciate hearing from you."
