What do you mean "resurrect"?
By using Battery Amnesia you can completely discharge the pack and then
AS SOON as it is flat re-charge it fully, by repeating this 3 or 4 times
you can often recover quite a bit of capacity, (NI-MH cells do exhibit a
degree of "Memory effect" just not to the same degree as the older
Ni-Cad cells), also doing this with a new set of cells will exercise
them and ensure that they give their best.

NB
NEVER leave a pack in a discharged state as the cells will grow dendrite
crystals internally that can quickly short the cell rendering it
useless. (these can sometimes be removed by "zapping" them with a large
capacitor, but that is quite another story!)
