Hi
I have registered with iTunes for purchases but cannot find out how
to search & buy.
I have looked at help and followed the instructions but get stopped
after the first action - Store>Search.
The help screen says

To purchase items in the iTunes Store:
In iTunes, click iTunes Store (below Store).
Find the song, video, or album you want to buy.
To make sure a song is the one you want, double-click it to hear a
preview (a portion of the song).
----
This gives me a page with an offer to upgrade to version 10.3 - but
the system requirements are beyond my...

When I type in the search box I expected it to start showing me a
matching list a'la Spotlight - but nothing happens!
No other options are present, no genre, no artist, etc
Any advice please.
