Thank you Angelo and Bruce for your feedback. Will definitely shop
around for the 512 RAM. Contemplating the larger HD, makes sense if
installing a more complex OS. Have downloaded the guide from
iFixit.com a while back and should be able to follow it.

Just to clarify... if I purchase OS X 10.4, I can download the updates
to 10.4.11 without paying extra, correct?
