I agree that 10.3 would definitely be optimal as far as speed; Panther
runs pretty well in, say, a 333Mhz iMac with barely 256Mb of RAM. The
problem with Panther is the lack of up-to-date software, like
browsers, that is still available for 10.4 and, ironically enough, for
OS 9 --thanks to the heroic TenFourFox/Classilla projects and others.

Other than that, I'm with you 100%.
