Hello folks, Being a while...
My Powerbook G4 17" has developed some strange issues. As usual, I've spent some time with it before coming here. What I noticed is that once plugged into the wall, there will be a slight sounding buzzing. It won't charge the battery and I doubt that it's the battery that has the problem. I've downloaded and installed battery monitor and it says "unable to read battery status data." It won't start without. It gives a wheezing sound instead when I hit the power button. And nothing happens after that. But with the dead battery in, it starts. It wasn't giving the bong sound for the longest time. But after going in there and pushing connectors, it's bonging now and starts with the dead battery.
