What I wonder is why should I pay for "other services still to come"? It 
seems more reasonable to charge customers just for what they get.

Otherwise, I think a much better policy from .Mac were to let users pick 
what they want and pay for it (I just need my mac.com account, and don't 
use any other iTool).

[As I see it, is like an airline company allows customers just to buy a 
business class with jacuzzi, lounge, free bar...; maybe their charge a 
reasonable cost, but I just want a tourist seat!]
