I don't know where you got your info that a Pismo isn't worth upgrading, I have a 400 mhz pismo right now that has a 40 GB drive and 756 MB of Ram running OS 10.2.1 and I actually use it more than my 867 mhz G4 (primarily because I like to sit and watch TV in my living room while I surf or play a game). It's a rock solid machine that, as far as I'm concerned is the equal of all but the most feature rich new TiBook. I'm just waiting until I get the cash together to upgrade it to a 500 mhz G4. If you check the auction sites for Pismos that have been upgraded to more Ram and larger hard drives, I think you'll see they are going for prices comparable to newer iBooks in fact you may have a hard time finding one, they sell quickly at premium prices.
