Yes! I'm glad you mentioned that as it was an important factor for me as well. Given that a laptop doesn't have any "expansion bays" I like having a PCMCIA slot as a little bit of "future proofing".
Am I not the only one that wishes that Apple would put some sort of docking connector on the bottom of their powerbooks? I know some 3rd parties make docking connectors that attach to the side of the powerbook, but something that the powerbook sat down in or on would sure be nice
