Hi Folks, I am looking at Comcast, broadband internet cable, the only choice in my area. Is there such a device as a combined cable modem and router? Must I have a cable modem AND a router to use more than one computer on my internet cable? Where and how does a wireless device connect into this scheme? I will get one IP address from Comcast so I will need a NAT equipped device to share the connection. Does the Airport do this? Can one Mac connect via ethernet cable to the modem/router and another Mac use WiFi to share the connection? How about some Comcast approved brand name devices? Thanks very much. Jim.
