It is definitely not a safari problem since you just said it also
happens with other browsers. Try to reset the browser or emptying
your cache. Doing these will not in anyway harm your browsers.

Ebay is a prime example...not only do I have trouble signing in but
midway through checking my auctions, I have to keep signing in -
despite checking off a box to stay signed in.
Any ideas as to what may be going on ? I would appreciate any
suggestions.
