Sorry for the double post, but if you can, you can try downgrading Safari, if you can. Can you possibly mention any software updates or new plugins that you installed right before you started having issues in Safari?

Of course, if worse comes to worse, you can try iCab, Camino or even Firefox. None of them are as fast loading as Safari, but I know that Firefox, at least, can import your settings from Safari and can be skinned to look like Safari. Again, not the best fix, or even what you're looking for, but it's an option.

Whatever happens, I sincerely hope that you can get things back in working order as soon as possible.
