I've come across several websites, including one for one of my jobs where we report daily activity, that Safari wouldn't work with--kept getting a system error when trying to log on. I switched over to FireFox--and haven't had a problem since.
I now do all my browsing with either FireFox or iCab. If I didn't need Safari to be on the 'book for some internet settings (I found out from this list--you have to set your default browser, even if it isn't Safari, IN safari. Go figure.), I'd probably nuke it from my system. It just doesn't seem to be as compatible as you'd think it'd be.
