RE: hi, Ill try to keep this simple,do you have a voltmeter? can you check
your groung lug socket(wall outlet) for any small voltage reading.the ground
should carry any short so if a current imbalance exists it should show up.in
other words your house electrical system is may act as an antenae
broadcasting a power inbalance between two 120vlines or a ground fault,or
even a transient charge.some examples might include trouble with elements in
electric water heater,unconected ground wires to motor loads(two prong plugs
instead of three)are you in high humidity or cool and dry part of the
country?,small appliances,alumnum house wireing etc. best wishes
