RE: a most excellant question, oscilliscopes and attachments are the most
commonly used in industrial settings,what you describe is a workaround when
the proper equipment is unavailabe,that is it does not provide you an
acurate range and direction to follow,no problem in a small home,a real
problem at an airport.still if its enough to rough up your radio, it may
well cause further interference and so help in the process of elimination.as
I recall a distance of 36 inches was recomended between TV and computer,but
