You know, it occurred to me that I will have to discard both
of these RAM modules because I don't know which one is causing the
problem and I'm not willing test either one of them in my computer
and then have to spend another 8 hours getting it to run again.
The interesting thing about this bad RAM is that the problems
it causes come and go and they are not always the same problems. The
computer will run fine for a month or two, lapse into a series of
strange problems, and then go back to working again.
I have been having problems with my Beige G3 for well over a
year. I finally gave up on the Beige as having a bad motherboard and
was going to part it out. Moving the RAM to the Blue and White (And
having it refuse to start with "Address Errors") has convinced me
that bad RAM was the problem with the Beige. Cleared up a lot of
mysteries.
