Nope. Not using the IDE bus with the dvd/cd drive on it.
Using the one that runs the hard drives. One difference is there are
two 40 GB Hard Drives on the onboard IDE bus (The 40 GB IMB that
shipped with the G4 and the new 40 GB Maxtor) and only one hard drive
on the Sonnet card.
Virtual memory probably was on since there was only a new
install of OS 9.2 on the computer at the time.
This is a brand new setup of Apple OS 9.2 on new hard drives.
There is no software installed yet.
I probably should have hooked both new Maxtor Hard Drives to
the Sonnet card but the cables are getting thick in there so hooked
one to the existing cable to save space. But if the onboard IDE bus
is only half the speed of the Sonnet controller then I will hook both
hard drives to the Sonnet card.
