I couldn't get into the link but I have a beige g3 with an ultimate rez card
for a second monitor.

When I went to upgrade to 9.0, I started having all kinds of problems with
the screen redraws, etc. Looked everywhere for new drivers, but obviously
ixmicro is defunct now.

I felt really stupid, but it turns out apple now supports the cards
in-system, so having the ixmicro drivers was what was screwing everything
up. Pulled them, and it has worked great.
