Strange, I know the quicksilvers have an auto-sensing gigabit card in them... I believe they make autosensing hubs (ie that run the port at 10 or 100 depending on what the card is) so it might actually be with the hub... Its worth checking out the apple knowledge base or calling tech support, as I'm sure its come up before. I found this by searching dealchat (www.dealchat.com) by someone who bought a quicksilver.
