I am running 9.1 on my 233 G3, and having no problems. I did see an increase
in speed after installing. One thing that bugs me though, is that Apple
seems to be borrowing some tricks from B.G. by causing problems with
non-Apple CD writers. The problems with non-apple devices seem to get worse
the further one upgrades their O.S. I have to turn on my Yamaha CD writer on
after the boot in order to keep my G3 from freezing up.
