> Do you just need to format a partition? OR do you need to combine 2 > partitions? One at a time, actually, transfering data as I format them, until all 3 partitions are in HFS+ & ready for OS X. I'd emailed FWB asking if Hard Disk ToolKit could do this, and Mark Hurlow of FWB brought to my attention that I can do it happily with OS 8.1 itself. Thing is I've never dared click on the "Erase Disk" function just in case my muscle twitched, there was an extra mouse click & I actually did erase the disk. >From Mark at FWB : "Yep... you can do it without HDT. Just select the volume from the desktop and use Apple's erase disk command. You can then select from the pop up manual Mac OS Extended for your hard disk."
