There's just one connector on the back of the monitor, the VGA type connector. Apple included a VGA to Mac cable. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't going to run into problems with sync, or some other Mac specific circuitry chugging away inside the monitor. That's mainly why I posed the question. As far as what we want to use it for, my son bought a video card for his 8500 off of eBay to play games. It only has the VGA connection. He's running a 15" PC monitor on it but want's to use his 17" Apple monitor instead (connected to the on-board video).
