My son asked if it was possible to swap the monitor cable on his Apple 17" model 1705 monitor so that he could hook it up to a PC (or for that matter, a Mac PCI video card with VGA port only). It has what appears to be a standard VGA type connector on the back. Can I just go out an buy a generic VGA monitor cable for it?
