Thanks for the help there with the monitor question. Thing is the monitor is
practically brand new I've only had it just under a month so I don't think
any battery or the EEPROM will be getting 'tired'. The monitor is plugged
directly into a wall socket and I don't actually power it down completely
ever...once it's in standby that's the way it stays!
