I know I saw something about this in the past, but I was concentrating hard on how to get my new ATA 20GB in with my original 6GB and somehow I did not grasp the "how to's " to correct the problem that I have now. Please forgive my asking an old question , but....
On a Gossimer G3 rev. A upgraded to 400 MHZ with a Motorola copper 1 MB BSC/ 768 MB ram /internal ATA 20 GB HD / ext. SCSI 4 GB HD Lacie / Radeon 32 MB Video, PCI / Generic PCI-USB card, 2 port / ASOUND 4 port USB Hub, powered or unpowered / Logitech 2 button wheel mouse, USB / Sandisk Flash card reader, USB / Sony Spressa CDRW, USB / Epson 777 printer, USB I have My ATA partitioned in two parts. On the first partition I have 10.1.3 & 9.2.2, VPC 5.0 w98 and on the other I have 9.1.2 VPC 3.0 w98 . On my ext. Lacie I have 9.1 . I've installed USB support 1.4.1 update from Apple on all the OS's and still am having problems getting my CDRW to burn CD's . The USB hub drops off line when I try to burn. The mouse and Sand disk also connected to the hub drop off as well. The box says the hub can be used powered or non and I have tried it both ways to no avail. Has any one else reliably gotten a Sony CDRW to burn on a BGEG3DT ? -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
