It sounds like the file integrity may be damaged, can you download the
updater again? You may need to use the latest stuffit Expander engine
if it is the a .hqx or .sit, I remember a while ago that some files I
downloaded had to be extracted with Stuffit Expander 6.

I can't elaborate on the exact meaning of the -127 error, the reason I
know what it is, is because I used a program called EasyErrors and you
can get the meaning of almost all mac errors.
