I agree with Ron; yet Goodwill in many places got nailed by Business Software
Association (read "MS") for fixing up machines and installing Windows. I think
they were using a more up-to-date version of Windows than came on many of the
machines, which would not have been legal. Still, they got nailed and many
Goodwill stores in our area will no longer sell working computers of any kind out
of fear of further fines and litigation.
