unfortunately, it's now been publicly stated that we are and will conduct operations in secret around the world, it's now official policy that the cia can hunt down and assassinate or whatever else they want to do to people or groups, without bothering to notify the government who's jurisdiction they are violating, we've become an outlaw nation once again. then again, we have been for a long, long time. just consider how we "arrested" noriaga (sp?) officially for violating us law (when we all know it's actually because he had a big mouth and was letting people know how the cia made money smuggling cocaine and god knows what else, he was there banker!). in any case, i'm sure canada does some similar things, 911 is being used to justify the shredding of the constitution and international law on a grand scale and often very openly, imho. remember, no one ever expects the spanish inquisition (except of course for the "paranoids", which is a term that's getting harder and harder to site examples of).
