Two thoughts here. One, it is very confusing to keep track of when
one's domain name comes up. Verisign keeps sending me posts, "Your
domain name is up for renewal" when my year is nowhere near up.
I have to keep posting, "no, it isn't" and append my email agreement
with them.

Other thought: maybe two domains for a business is not such a bad
idea? If one goes poof, well, you can operate from the other. For example,
macslash.com and macslashcompany.com, something like that.
