To the original poster: upgrade to 4.79 (from your 4.73). You probably will
find 6.2.x too unstable to be useful (it's suffering from *huge* bloat as
well).

Under OS X I've found every version of Netscrape 6.x to be unusable because
it'll crash within minutes of opening. The other problem that all post 4.7.x
Netscrapes suffer from is a very poor interface. Under OS X I've found that
windows don't behave properly, they don't close cleanly and that the
interface is, well, to put it mildly, a throwback to the early days of the
web.

Under OS 9 I'm too scared of a crash to use Netscrape. Once bitten, twice
shy. I recently deleted Netscape 6.2 off my drive because I was so fed up
with accidentally opening it (and having to wait aeons for the app to load,
and facing the not-so-nice prospect of a computer crash) instead of 4.79 or
Explorer 5.0.

PS To the lady running "5.5". I really hope you meant 4.5 because otherwise
you're running Windows ;). If you're running 4.5 I'd suggest upgrading to
5.0. It's hands down the smoothest Classic browser available (NS 6.x will
never be smooth on anything but a G4/1000... it's too damn big).
