I added a female IEC "kettle" lead to a 4-way powerboard, and plugged
it inot the auxiliary power out on the back of my mac. Now my
monitor, modem, printer and external SCSI drive all power up and down
when I power up/down the mac from menu or keyboard. Nifty.

The tricky part was finding a powerboard that was held together with
normal screws ie not tamper proof screws or plastic-welded shut.

Please check that you have a clue, a licensed electrician and a SWAT
team of lawyers before you try this at home. In fact, don't even try
it. This information was provided for your entertainment only. I
don't even exist, OK?
