Actually I do have another curiosity... Not having the machine in front of me yet I can only go from the research Ive done.
I think I was told that it has internal scsi so Im assuming it is an internal pci card...maybe its part of the motherboard..I dont know... question is I have a 9gb 7200rpm SCSI HD and an 8gb 5400 IDE HD that I plan on installing for the time being. I would prefer the 7200/scsi as my main drive and I think the b/w is built as an EIDE for its master drive. will I loose anything speed wise if I designate the otherwise slave position<scsi> as my master drive in the start-up disk control panel ? basically is a 7200rpm drive through the scsi port going to be faster than a 5400rpm drive going through the IDE < assuming the IDE is for the master drive > ? also Ive only recently gotten usb < PPC 9600 - PCI card > and have never used firewire is there an internal outlet for either the usb or the firewire on the B/W or are they all external ports? thanks again for the feedback Ralph -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
