It's a Mercury Elite.

Elite is a Seagate brand name, much as Barracuda is.

That is, unless OWC and/or Mercury is using "elite" in a generic sense.

However, as "Elite" is a registered "mark" ...

Elite is in reality a fully protected trademark of Seagate.

My guess is the box is made by Mercury, and it incorporates the Oxford 911 
chipset and a Seagate Elite drive.

Funny thing ... I thought Seagate's Elite was a 5.25" product, not a 3.5" 
product.
