Mercury is an OWC in house name for the drive package they sell. It is not the name of the drive inside.
David Okay, I've heard of all the brands of hard drives that have been talked about here so far, but what about this Mercury brand that Other World Computing is pushing? Mercury is a new name to me. Or is it just some common drive in a new package? I've been thinking of getting a big external firewire hard drive, just for backup if nothing else, and their prices look good, see: http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_Item.cfm?ID=3816&Item=OWCMEFW120GB, but does Mercury have any track record yet? Anybody ever owned a Mercury drive, and if so, how well did it work? Tom -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
