X for me, an early adopter and enthusiastic user since 10.1. I juggled between the two when I needed 9-only apps for work and play, but I've pretty much banished Classic. I find X to be stable as can be, a chance to learn new things, and enjoyable to use. It's interesting to read people write that 9 is solid or stable; I renamed my PowerBook "Crash" because that's what it did a lot of the time (Heretic!), until I loaded X.
I'm not sure I agree that "most apps are still not OSX compatible," although if the ones you use to make a living are absent, then X surely isn't a wise move--yet, anyway. As for the Wacom tablet, I keep reading about how they work in Inkwell as used in Jaguar pre-releases. Is anyone out there actively resisting X in the hopes that Apple will give it up and just revert to the Mac OS of old? alex -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
