Funny how I ran across this thread today since I am about to go out within
the hour and purchase a network router. The Mac store that I was going to
ONLY has Linksys as their affordable router (there is an Asante but that's
too high for me). So I'm guessing that I shouldn't get Linksys. I wonder
why this Mac store (and when I say Mac store, I mean there's not a PC in
sight) sells the Linksys when many are saying they don't support Mac? I've
heard good stuff about SMC, any comments? If SMC is good then I'll probably
need to go to the cheap PC store (which doesn't sell any Macs at all) and
pick up the SMC router which is only $99 cdn. Funny how the PC store has
the stuff I need for my Mac but the Mac store sort of flounders a bit in
this department.
