With all due respect, I don't understand why you get
your panties in a wad every time someone mentions
their LinkSys router.

I maintain that this is not a platform issue at all,
as TCP/IP, DHCP, and the like are *protocols*. If you
understand how the TCP/IP control panel works under
OS9 and X, getting tech support shouldn't be an issue.

Mothra, I recommend that you power everything down
(modem, router, and all connected computers), and then
start everything up again after waiting about a
minute.

Works every time for me (on a LinkSys router!).
