that has very little to do with the cpu temp, which is much hotter than
even the heatsink on the processor.  it is a good way to check the
adequatesy of the airflow and the drive temps, although some drive
makers specify temps for specific parts of the drive and specific chips
on the board, to measure these accurately you need a smaller probe.
