add my name to the list of hold outs. I know the new machines are awesome
compared to my old Yosemite unit (esp for graphic design). I've used them,
though, and the improvement just isn't enough in the critical areas. we need
DDR memory, faster processors (both in MHz and bits processed, 128 ain't
enough anymore), higher bandwidth, and faster USB and FireWire. the steep
cost of a new machine just is not worth it, IHMO, without these
improvements.
