there's no such thing as a 7470. that was just a pipe dream invented by Ryan 
Meader
on MacOSRumours.com. The only thing that was special about the Xserve was 
it's ability
to use DDR SDRAM with the SDR-designed architecture of the 7455 (among other 
things).

there really isn't any major reason to whine and complain about the new Power 
Macs. We wanted
new, faster Power Macs, and Apple gave them to us. We wanted ATA-100, more 
ATA drive bays,
DDR RAM, and Apple gave them to us (even if it wasn't "true" DDR). Heck, they 
even brought
back the Analog Audio-In port!

just because Apple didn't live up to the rumour mongers who fostered foolish 
hopes of Quad-Processor
1.6 Ghz G4's or G5 Macs with Gigawire and USB 2 doesn't mean that the new 
systems are garbage.
because they're not. remember, these machines come with Jag-wire, which is 
sure to scream on these
machines.
