If you "heard" that a new Ford failed 4 out of 5 times it was used, would you buy it ? Would you reccomend it to friends? Just because that computer does not whack out as many gigaflops as yours, it does not mean it cannot produce the same work in photoshop etc. Many publishing companies are still using G3's, simply because the cost of re-fitting an office with dual-G4's is not economically viable. Many people, I am not accusing anyone specific, write e-mails on their G4's, and type letters to granny. If you are using intensive programs on a G3, surely that is a better use of resources?
