Actually, mine has a 3.2 GB IDE drive, which is my System disk.
I am considering changing it out to a 12 GB IDE drive I have, and going from
there.
If I put it in a FW box, format it HFS Extended, and do not install a
system, I am assuming that the CD will be the ONLY OS, and it will work
harder to boot from it.
I was so surprised to be having this problem with a "supported" machine.
That was why I bought a G3 and upgraded to G4. It was Entry level.
Now, Xposto mentions an issue of sorts with Beige DT WITH G4 upgrades. I am
also considering taking the G4 ZIF out and putting the G3/266 back in for
testing purposes.
