No it's not. I asked Al what he does with his Mac to see what OS X holds 
for him. I used to have a PC. Woohoo great I could run Linux, it's mega 
stable and never crashes but to be frank it is a crap desktop OS. I used 
Windows 'cause I played games and used real applications that worked. I 
kno OS X doesn't suffer either of these ills, and to be honest I think it 
is worth doing, but you have to see beyond the stability issues here to 
see what the individual needs it for.
