well i'm sure that's great for you unix aficionados
personally i think cmd line is out of the ark and
should go back there ... and STAY THERE!!

X doesn't crash? what does it do? exit gracefully?
on my mac it certainly doesn't crash!
why would it crash?
i can't get it to do something as simple and
basic as see the other macs on my network

as for not crashing there has been a password thread of late
that has scared the bejezzus out of me. imagine my very own mac
telling me i can't do something because i don't have enough privileges
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!

it's all a bit too orwellian for me
