OK. I apoligize to you Al. I was rather harsh. It isn't your fault that you are frustrated with your computers and I should not have been so rude to you. To be honest, I had had a hard time last night with my cable service (I was on the phone with Roadrunner for about 6 hours) and I have not gotten any sleep. I humbly express my desire to apoligize to you for being a jerk.
If you need help with your networking issues, please email me offlist and I will do what I can to help you at [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have extensive knowledge of networking, especially between OS 9 and 10.1.5. I just upgraded to 10.2, and to be honest, it will probably make your life easier as far as your networking goes, not to mention improving your X experience. I adopted OS X on the first day (cause i've only been using Macs since 97, although I have 40 Macs ranging from a Mac SE with the optional hard disk all the way up to my current box, a B&W G4/450), and if you give it some time and patience, you will see that X is superior to 9 in a lot of ways. i dont want to say its perfect (no OS is), but it is as close as Apple has ever come to it IMHO. If you need help making the adjustment to X, I will be more than happy to do so. I love it and I will do anything I can to get more people on the X bandwagon. Again I apoligize for my foolishness. -Josh -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
